Rated Good by Ofsted, Gumboots Nursery & Pre-School provides Early Years education and childcare to children from birth to 5 years old. You can find us in East Dulwich, not far from East Dulwich and North Dulwich stations. We’re a spacious nursery, with separate rooms and gardens for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.
Our caring and dedicated staff have worked together for many years. The children enjoy a varied and stimulating timetable – from cooking with our chef to Zumba classes and gardening.
The children also love getting involved in the wider community, taking trips to the local shops or visiting the elderly. We run regular quiz nights, so parents and grandparents can join in the fun.
Our on-site chef prepares nutritious and balanced meals from LEYF’s menu.

Hello, my name is Funmi and I've worked at LEYF and Playhouse Nursery & Pre-School since 2016. We have an experienced staff group here, who inspire the children to learn through curiosity and discovery. People would describe me as driven, nurturing and passionate.

Food and nutrition at LEYF
Healthy eating is important at LEYF. Our chefs, trained at our Early Years Chef Academy, understand children’s specific nutritional needs, and how to encourage children to be adventurous in their tastes. We cater for different dietary requirements and allergies.
