Rated Good by Ofsted, Eastbury Nursery & Pre-School provides Early Years education and childcare to children from birth to 5 years old. You can find us in Barking, not far from Upney underground station. We’re a deceptively large nursery, with lots of space and separate rooms and gardens for different age groups.
The children enjoy sensory play with foam and ice, dialogic reading, language groups, cooking and much more. Outside, we have a climbing frame, a vegetable patch and even a mud kitchen!
We run regular sessions for parents too and offer excellent SEND support. Many families that visit comment on the welcoming atmosphere and family feel of the nursery.
Our chef prepares healthy, balanced meals, using recipes from LEYF’s menu.
We also offer term-time-only sessions from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

Tina, nursery manager
Hello, my name is Tina and I have been manager at Eastbury Nursery & Pre-School since 2014. Eastbury Nursery has lots of unique things about it, such as its excellent, large outdoor space, with a great undercover area, which children have access to at all times. There is also a garden and the children's own vegetable patch.

Food and nutrition at LEYF
Healthy eating is important at LEYF. Our chefs, trained at our Early Years Chef Academy, understand children’s specific nutritional needs, and how to encourage children to be adventurous in their tastes. We cater for different dietary requirements and allergies.
