Early Years Practitioner

Early Years Practitioners have a child-centred approach to teaching, using creative and exciting methods to stimulate the children in their care.

Nursery Assistant

Early Years Assistants help to deliver Early Years education and care through child-led activities, using their fun and creative flair to provide engaging learning opportunities for the children.

Early Years Educators

Our Early Years Educators create inspiring experiences for our children, whilst establishing a nurturing environment and encouraging bravery and curiosity in their development.

As an Early Years Educator, you will deliver the EYFS curriculum through child-led activities, where you will be able to use your fun and creative flair, providing engaging learning opportunities for the children.

Early Years Educators have relevant child care qualifications at Level 3 or above, experience of working in an Early Years setting, a good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection, and a positive and proactive attitude to work.

Early Years Practitioners

Our Early Years Practitioners make a difference in their local communities and have a child-centred approach to teaching, using creative and exciting methods to stimulate the children in their care.

As a LEYF Early Years Practitioner, you are responsible for the observations of your key children. You work with parents and carers to ensure children’s routines are followed and the children are happy at nursery, while they develop vital skills and relationships.

Early Years Practitioners have relevant child care qualifications at Level 2 or above, a good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection, and experience of working in an Early Years setting.

Early Years Assistant

Our Early Years Assistants support the nursery team in planning and organising activities and experiences for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. They take part in activities which help to stimulate the children and support their learning and development.

As a LEYF Early Years Assistant, you help to deliver Early Years education and care through child-led activities, using your fun and creative flair to provide engaging learning opportunities for the children.

While entry qualifications aren’t necessary, we offer the opportunity to enrol onto our internal apprenticeship programme, once you have passed your six-month probation period with us. This allows you to become a qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator.
