As a LEYF Nursery Manager, you are accountable for nursery finances, deployment of resources (human and otherwise), quality of the curriculum, health and safety, partnership with parents, community engagement and child protection.

As a LEYF Deputy Nursery Manager, you will manage and develop the nursery team while undertaking administrative and IT duties including a collection of fees, nursery database, purchasing and receipts.

Our Room Managers lead a team of Early Years professionals to create and plan daily routines and activities to engage and stimulate our children. They confidently manage the day-to-day running of the room, while encouraging their team, motivating learning and positively managing every child’s well-being.
As a LEYF Room Manager, you will work closely with the management team to ensure that best practice is maintained and delivered throughout the nursery, ensuring we provide the best experience for our children and their families.
Room Managers have relevant qualifications at Level 3 or above, combined with leadership and team management skills, knowledge of legislation relating to Early Years and the ability to build strong and supportive relationships within a team.
Room Managers are key members of the team at LEYF. This is why we have created a tailored training programme for all new Room Managers joining us to help support their development in the room and leadership skills.
