My name is Sherene and I am the Nursery Manager at Fire Station Community Nursery.
The Fire Station Community Nursery is located in Stoke Newington and provides care and education for children from birth to five years.
The caring and qualified staff make sure each child feels safe and secure from their very first day at the nursery, and using creativity and play, will nurture a love of learning that lasts for life.
Each day at the nursery, the children are given freshly prepared, healthy meals. In all nursery’s children will either have access to a garden or go on regular trips to a local park.
Water play is a chance for the children to develop hand-eye coordination and pouring skills and learn about capacity.
Role play provides the children with fantastic opportunities to learn about everyday people who keep us safe.
