Rated Good by Ofsted, Fire Station Nursery & Pre-School provides Early Years education and childcare to children from birth to 5 years old.
We’re based inside The Old Fire Station in Stoke Newington, close to Rectory Road station.
We have spaces dedicated to different age groups, including a cosy room for babies. Our experienced team has worked together for many years.
Every activity we do is designed to stimulate the children’s curiosity. The children enjoy science, dialogic reading, cooking, yoga, ‘feelings boxes’ and much more!
They love to get outdoors too, visiting the local shops and exploring nearby Abney Park. Our on-site chef prepares all meals using healthy recipes from LEYF’s menu.

Feryal, Nursery Manager
Hello, my name is Feryal and I am the manager here at Fire Station Nursery & Pre-School, I have been at LEYF since 2016. People would describe me a mentor, inspirational and understanding – all essential qualities for a nursery manager.

Food and nutrition at LEYF
Healthy eating is important at LEYF. Our chefs, trained at our Early Years Chef Academy, understand children’s specific nutritional needs, and how to encourage children to be adventurous in their tastes. We cater for different dietary requirements and allergies.
