Rated Good by Ofsted, London Fields Nursery and Pre-School provides Early Years education and childcare to children from birth to 5 years old.
You can find us in Hackney, not far from London Fields station. We’re a roomy nursery, with plenty of natural light and separate areas for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. We have lots of space for all-weather outdoor play.
The children enjoy a wide range of stimulating activities with our experienced team. Activities include messy arts play, gardening, woodwork, science experiments, chopping veg in our home corner using real utensils, obstacle courses, cooking and more.
Our chef provides all meals from scratch, using healthy recipes from LEYF’s nutritious menu.
Explore our shorter days offer
We also offer parents at this nursery the option of choosing shorter days for your child – 8am until 4pm. This will save you 20% on standard full-day nursery fees. Just get in touch with us at customerservices@leyf.org.uk.
Meet the manager
Caroline, nursery manager
Hello, my name is Caroline and I am manager of London Fields Nursery & Pre-School. I have been working in the Early Years sector since 1989. I spent several years in Europe and then in Asia, teaching Early Years education in a local government school. I find Early Years education fascinating, especially ensuring that children are empowered to be independent thinkers.

Food and nutrition at LEYF
Healthy eating is important at LEYF. Our chefs, trained at our Early Years Chef Academy, understand children’s specific nutritional needs, and how to encourage children to be adventurous in their tastes. We cater for different dietary requirements and allergies.
