    Henry Fawcett nursery joined the LEYF family in October 2012, their last Ofsted inspection in November 2016 rated them as ‘Outstanding’.  Henry Fawcett is a 47-place nursery for children aged 0-5 years old, comprising of 3 separate areas inside and outside for the under twos, and access to a garden just outside the nursery for the children and is open 51 weeks of the year.

    About the role:

    Our Henry Fawcett Community Nursery is looking for qualified and inspiring nursery room leader, who is passionate about working with Toddler room. We are seeking for a room leader who is organised and robust; able to lead and adapt to the nursery’s culture and environment and able to give the toddler room their full attention.

    Requirement for the role:

    As a qualified nursery practitioner, you need a full and relevant level 3 childcare qualification and up; this may include NNEB or equivalent. Experience of working within the Toddler room is desirable. Able to demonstrate your knowledge of the EYFS and embrace our LEYF Pedagogy. You must be able to lead by example and tap into the capabilities of your team by recognising their strengths and helping them improve their weaknesses. Strong communication is essential and embedding the LEYF values.

    Working Hours and Travel Journey: Bus/Train/Tube Transport:
    • Location: Clayton Street, London, SE11 5BZ
    • Bus Routes: 3, 59, 159, 155, 333, 185
    • Nearest Stations: Oval, Kennington, Vauxhall, Pimlico
    • Nursery opening times: 8am – 6pm
    • Working week hours: 36.25 hours
