Hi my name is Elizabeth and I have been working for LEYF since 2008 where I joined as an apprentice and have worked my way up through the training and development offered by LEYF. We are a small, intimate, family friendly nursery which offers outstanding learning opportunities that help to challenge and extend children’s development and promote independence. Queen's Park nursery is a two story building with two separate rooms; one for our under twos and one for our over twos. The nursery has an open plan spacious layout which is bright, welcoming and reflects all areas of development. We have two garden areas where children have the opportunity to develop physically and to learn about gardening and healthy eating in our garden centre. We have a passionate team who are extremely knowledgeable and experienced and this is reflected in our recent 'Outstanding' Ofsted grade. We embed LEYF's values and beliefs in everything we do; we offer fun learning and development opportunities for all children, with a spiral curriculum supporting and extending children’s development helping them to reach their full potential. We are brave in the way we act as child advocates and include children in planning meetings, ensuring their voices are heard. We inspire our children to be the best they can be, and support home learning to help inspire our parents extending their child’s education. We are nurturing in the way we support our children right from the beginning from the settling in stages, through harmonious relationships with staff and keyworkers throughout all their transitions and celebrating children’s achievements. We're very proud of our nursery and would love to show you around! Please get in touch to arrange a visit.
We are located in West Kilburn, providing care and education for children from birth to 5 years. We're open 8am to 6pm, 51 weeks a year.
