Hello, my name is Conor and I am the nursery manager of Lisson Green. I started working at Lisson Green as a Deputy Manager in February 2014 and was appointed as the nursery manager in October 2015. I joined LEYF in 2009 and have a range of experience working across several LEYF nurseries in a variety of roles. I hold a NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare learning and development and I am working towards my foundation degree in Educational Psychology. I believe that working with children is a privilege, not just a job. Our nursery parents entrust us with the most precious thing in their lives (their children) and it’s our responsibility to ensure that we nurture them, inspire them, teach them to be brave, and while doing all of this we have fun! At Lisson Green we aim to support every child to reach their full potential though a unique, differentiated curriculum that can suit the needs of each child. We have a friendly and inclusive environment spread over three unique play rooms which each support a different age group of children. We also have a wonderful urban outdoor environment where children can explore a range of fun learning experiences.
Our Lisson Green Community Nursery is relocating. From 31st July it will share the site of our Tresham Crescent Nursery. If you are interested in a space for your child, our Customer Services Team will be happy to arrange visits to Tresham Crescent. Alternatively, you can view our other nurseries in the area using the search tool provided and make enquiries as usual.
We are located in Marylebone, providing care and education for children from birth to 5 years. We're open 8am to 6pm, 51 weeks a year.
"My favourite part of the nursery experience has to be the way all the adults genuinely care about the children and keep them safe." Lisson Green parent
"The staff have been amazing. I like the fact that I can check my child's file at any time to see what she's learning and how she's progressing. In a very short time I've seen her develop tremendously with her speaking and learning. It's an amazing nursery." Sasha, parent at Lisson Green
"The staff are really interested in my child’s development, whenever I had a concern I was able to talk to her key worker and come up with strategies to do at home ." Lisson Green parent
"Unlike some nurseries I've visited, it was clear from the beginning that the focus here is on the care of the children rather than the money. My child is so happy here and not only has he developed but I have learnt so much as a parent too ." Elaine, parent at Lisson Green
"Very happy with the education offered. Staff are really involved and clearly feel concerned with our child's development. We appreciate flexibility, which is offered, as well a diverse range of activities." GT, parent at Lisson Green
"Brilliant atmosphere - friendly & family like. Alice is happy to see anyone from nursery. Food menu & variety is really good! I'm always reassured she's getting a good, balanced diet. Level & scope of activities is incredible and they take them out daily." Lisson Green parent
"I was unsure about every nursery I looked at until I found Lisson Green, it was the only place I felt my child would be safe and well looked after. The staff have the devotion and patience to shape young minds, communicating with and updating me regularly." Helina, parent at Lisson Green
"Incredible staff - very nice, friendly and dedicated. They will be missed immensely when we leave." Lisson Green parent
"The staff are extraordinary, welcoming and fun! They have taught both my children independence, maths and literacy and to be happy. They are very dedicated." Lisson Green parent
"Like leaving my son with a second family." Lisson Green parent
"Very diverse and all sorts of nationalities, some kids have investment banker parents some live in social housing. Doesn't feel like a chain. Has a private garden, unusual for a nursery in this area. Emphasis is on basic life skills and social development." Alex, parent at Lisson Green
"I feel safe leaving her when I'm at work. I know she gets the best care and fun. It's a small nursery but with a cosy, family feel. Staff are really passionate and genuinely care for the children. They're also very understanding and accommodate parents." Stella, parent at Lisson Green
"As a first time parent I was uncertain and anxious about nursery. The manager was extremely kind and patient, really puting our fears to rest over two visits. Key workers are excellent and always smiling, they've taken care of my child so well." Gail, parent at Lisson Green
"Everything is done to help the child develop and I cannot think of anything that they could do better." Lisson Green parent

"The key-person system is highly effective in supporting children to settle into the nursery. Children feel extremely safe and secure within a warm and welcoming environment"
"Children are extremely motivated by the wide range of stimulating learning experiences that take into account their individual needs and interests. They are very engaged in their learning and make excellent progress, relative to their starting points and capabilities"
"Parent partnerships are highly successful. Staff and managers regularly communicate with families to ensure they share key information. Parents are positive about the care their children receive and are fully aware of ways in which they can support their child's learning at home"
