Hello, my name is Sammy and I am the manager of South Bermondsey nursery. I started my childcare career 24 years ago when my son first joined a setting, and have been in management for 23 of those years. I joined LEYF in February 2017, and am a mother of 3 grownup children. I have 2 grandchildren and also enjoy caring for my pet tarantulas, cats, tortoise and dog. I am passionate about children having a voice within the nursery setting and seeing life through their eyes. I am very pleased to have joined such a passionate, caring team. At South Bermondsey we have a fantastic outdoor space, I am looking forward to developing it further to create outstanding learning opportunities for the children. I enjoy encouraging the children to learn and explore nature and the world. We're very proud of our nursery and would love to show you around! Please get in touch to arrange a visit.
Please note South Bermondsey Nursery is offering the 30 Hours from 1 September, 2017. This is open to working parents of 3 & 4 year olds. Please contact Sameer your Nursery Manager for details.
We provide care and education for children aged from birth to 5 years. We're open 8am to 6pm, 51 weeks a year.

''Children make good progress in their learning. They gain the necessary skills in readiness for school. Staff work closely with parents and provide suggestions for home learning. This helps provide consistency to help children understand what is expected of them.''
