I have been working in childcare for over 18 years. I began my journey as a Primary School Teacher, with a B.Ed Primary QTS qualification, working in some local schools. After a career break, having 2 children of my own, in 2010, I returned and refocussed my career in Early Years. I most recently joined the LEYF family and believe that living locally to the Conservatoire gives me an added insight to the local area and opportunities that it offers. I have a natural vision for learning and developing both myself, my team and the children that are in my care. I am passionate in bringing learning to life and embracing the different experiences that bring us together at LEYF, as an opportunity and key to individual learning. My greatest achievements and memories are those which involve ‘making a difference’. A difference to the progression, development and experiences of anyone of any age. Being part of a ‘lightbulb’ moment for any individual and knowing that I had a part of their journey. I feel privileged to be in the role I am in, to be entrusted with children’s individual Early Years experiences and journey’s
The Conservatoire Nursery was in January 2015. The nursery is set in a historic Grade II listed building. In partnership with The Conservatoire multi-arts complex the children enjoy music, dance and art - a truly unique experience! The children make daily use of our beautiful outdoor play area filled with opportunities to explore, learn and play. The nursery space has brand new toys and equipment with endless possibilities for children to be creative and imaginative in a safe environment. We're very proud of our new nursery and would love to show you around! Please get in touch to arrange a visit.
Please note The Conservatoire Nursery is offering the 30 Hours from 1 September, 2017. This is open to working parents of 3 & 4 year olds. There are a limited number of places available so please contact Havva your Nursery Manager for details.
We are located in Greenwich, providing care and education for children from birth to 5 years. We're open 8am to 6pm, 51 weeks a year.
