Hello my name is Nicola, and I’m the nursery manager at London Early Years Foundation (LEYF)'s Furze Children's Centre nursery in Chadwell Heath. I started working for LEYF in May 2015 and moved to Furze in October. I have the following qualification in Early Years BAHons, Foundation Degree, Level 4 in management and my Diploma Level 3. I’m a mother of two children, and as a parent I fully understand the importance of having good quality teaching and learning environment for young children to progress. In my working career I’ve worked in different settings for the last 14 years. I feel that building self-confidence in children is one of the most important life skills you can give them. Self-awareness begins at a very early age, and the earlier you can help cement the idea that they are important and special, the better. Also having strong values to ensure all children are respected, safe and listened too so they are happy and become successful in future life. We're very proud of our nursery and would love to show you around! Please get in touch to arrange a visit.
Please note Furze Nursery is offering the 30 Hours from 1 September, 2017. This is open to working parents of 3 & 4 year olds. Please contact your Nursery Manager for details.
We are located in Chadwell Heath, providing care and education for children from 6 months to 5 years. We're open 8am to 6pm, 51 weeks a year.

"The nursery manager is very approachable and so is my daughter's key worker and other room staff. The nursery fees are lower than most local options and it’s conveniently located near the bus stops and not too far from Chadwell Heath station either." Furze parent
"Generally happy… Key workers are GREAT! They communicate well and show they love the children so you feel that they are well looked after… Nursery atmosphere is very comfortable, mainly due to layout and looking well kept." Furze parent
"My grandaughter has come on in leaps and bounds since attending the nursery. Before she started she had a few problems with her speech and behaviour and was quite reserved, now she chatters and sings and can be understood a lot better." Jacenta, parent at Furze
"I would give Furze Nursery 10 out of 10. I have witnessed your dedication and love in teaching my daughter and I’m so blessed that my daughter is in your nursery." Furze parent
