WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our Henry Fawcett Nursery is seeking passionate Level 3 Qualified Full Time Practitioners to provide inspiring and fun care for our children whilst creating a nurturing environment and encouraging bravery and curiosity in our children’s development.
WHO ARE LEYF?
London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) Nurseries is London’s largest childcare social enterprise with over 100 years’ experience educating and caring for children across London. We are a not-for profit organisation and give free places to nearly half of our families, so that children from all backgrounds can enjoy early years learning and care.
OUR HENRY FAWCETT NURSERY
Henry Fawcett Community Nursery is located in Kennington, providing care and education for children from birth to five years and features lovely high ceilings, large windows and new wooden neutral equipment.
Henry Fawcett is special because of its lovely bright welcoming rooms with high ceilings, natural sunlight and neutral wooden equipment. It also has an excellent location within the Henry Fawcett Children’s Centre and school, with a garden that allows the older children of the school to interact with the nursery children.
Freshly prepared, healthy meals are provided for children every day and they can have fun learning about the outdoor world in the nursery garden or the local park.
Our Henry Fawcett Nursery is open 08.00-18.00 All year round except bank holidays.
You will be required to work on 8-hour shift patterns with other staff members depending on the nursery’s requirements

I've been the manager at Henry Fawcett Nursery since 2019 but at LEYF since 2016. Our team brings a wealth of experience and comes to work every day ready to give the children a wonderful learning experience. We're based in a Primary School and Children's Centre so we have lots of professionals around us as well as community classes we can link parents to. I believe that every child should be treated as an individual with diffrent interests, skills and passions.
