Our Gumboots Nursery is seeking passionate Level 3 Qualified Full Time Practitioners to provide inspiring and fun care for our children whilst creating a nurturing environment and encouraging bravery and curiosity in our children’s development.
London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) Nurseries is London’s largest childcare social enterprise with over 100 years’ experience educating and caring for children across London. We are a not-for profit organisation and give free places to nearly half of our families, so that children from all backgrounds can enjoy early years learning and care.
We are situated in East Dulwich and take children on regular visits to the local shops, The Horniman Museum and Peckham Rye Park.
The nursery is situated in a purpose-built building and has four play rooms, each with direct access to one of our 3 outdoor areas.
Our Gumboots is open 08.00-18.00 All year round except bank holidays.
You will be required to work on shift patterns with other staff members depending on the nursery’s requirements
As a permanent member of the LEYF family you will be entitled to:
Age Range: 0 - 5 years
OFSTED Rating: Outstanding
I've been part of the LEYF family since 2016. Our nursery is special because it's a home away from home and all the children are happy and settled. The staff are really motivated and always looking for innovative ways to support the development of the children. As a result, we've obtained an Ofsted Outstanding rating for the third time! I'd describe myself as creative, caring and a fun manager. I believe that every child should enjoy an environment that is stimulating, nurturing and caring and that all children should be entitled to high quality care and education.
We know it’s our people who make LEYF great. That’s why we value each staff member and offer:
● Pay and conditions above the national average in the nursery sector
● A nurturing, fun and value-led working environment
● An award-winning staff training and development programme
● The opportunity to make a real difference to children’s lives
