Despite the challenges of the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis we are still recruiting for Apprentices in our nurseries. We are only able to conduct telephone interviews at this point in time as we need to follow the Government’s guidelines on social distancing.
The Apprentice Team at London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) is keen to hear from you and will be reviewing all applications. We will then be offering telephone interviews to successful candidates. We can then advise you on the next stage in the recruitment process. Please keep applying.
The time is now to do something incredible: Teach Early Years.
Early Years Education literally shapes lives and has never been so important, do you have the passion and drive to make a difference to children across London?
Inspiring and educating Early Years Children is rewarding in so many ways. Not only do our teachers give the children an incredible start in life but families of all backgrounds are supported, celebrated and championed.
An apprenticeship at LEYF offers you a hands-on experience and training in lively, diverse settings all while earning a salary.
Your Class will be all Male, a first for the UK! You will study with your peers to achieve an excellent understanding of Early Years development.
You’ll work in a fun and caring environment, with the time and space to build warm relationships with other staff and the children in your care.
You will be involved in LEYF’s Action research project with Wolverhampton University on Men in Childcare, a fantastic study championing the important of male role models in Early Years Education.
We have various apprenticeships running throughout the year. In September 2020, our first Male Apprenticeship will run alongside our regular programme.
