Applying for a role in one of our nurseries
Our commitment to supporting and developing our team is only part of the reason so many people stay with us at LEYF. One of the other reasons is that we make sure we hire the best staff available!
We hold interviews either at our central office in Westminster or at a local nursery.
We use a range of activities designed to give candidates an opportunity to demonstrate how their knowledge (including an understanding of the current EYFS) and experience will ensure that they are ready to join one of our nursery teams.
Once you have successfully completed the interview stage we’ll arrange a visit for you to the nursery you’ll be working in so you can meet the manager, staff team and children.
If your application is successful, you will receive a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
All of our staff complete an initial induction programme, which provides you with a valuable introduction to your role, your nursery team, the LEYF values and how you will contribute to making the LEYF vision a reality.
Regular one-to-one meetings with your manager will ensure that you are able to receive regular feedback on how you are doing and identify further training and development needs if required.
