Rated Good by Ofsted, South Bermondsey Nursery and Pre-School provides Early Years education and childcare to children from birth to 5 years old. You can find us in Bermondsey, not far from Bermondsey underground station and South Bermondsey railway station. We’re a bright, modern nursery, with separate rooms and gardens for different age groups.
Our experienced staff plan each day with help from the children. There are lots of activities to choose from – including obstacle courses, cooking, gardening, modelling clay, painting and dialogic reading. No day is ever the same! Families can join in the fun too, with days dedicated to cultures from around the world.
Our on-site chef prepares all meals, using recipes from LEYF’s nutritious menu.

Kerry, nursery manager
Hello, my name is Kerry and I’m the manager at South Bermondsey Nursery and Pre-School. I have over 11 years of experience in Early Years and started my career with LEYF, progressing from being a student all the way to my current role as manager. South Bermondsey Nursery has an impressive environment that demonstrates a child-centered approach with an experienced and caring team.

Food and nutrition at LEYF
Healthy eating is important at LEYF. Our chefs, trained at our Early Years Chef Academy, understand children’s specific nutritional needs, and how to encourage children to be adventurous in their tastes. We cater for different dietary requirements and allergies.
