LEYF is keen to employ people from the local area so we can make a strong connection between the nursery and the community.  Over half of our staff live near the nursery they work in and many are bi-lingual.  We are proud that our nurseries reflect their local communities and are equipped to welcome parents from all backgrounds.

We encourage our staff to gain qualifications while working for us through our dedicated, award-winning Centre for Research, Learning and Development.  For example, more than 20% of LEYF staff are currently studying at degree level and we also give opportunities to young people to embark on a career in childcare through our high quality apprenticeships.
