Recognising excellence, innovation and ethics, the ceremony was opened with a video address from the Prime Minister David Cameron, followed by the keynote speaker Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Danny Alexander, who welcomed over 1200 of the UK’s most influential business leaders.

Hosted by Sky News presenter Jeff Randall, highlights of the evening included an interview with Olympian Jessica Ennis, who wowed guests with her story of determination and success.

June O’Sullivan, LEYF Chief Executive said:

It has never been more important for children in London to have access to high quality childcare. We ensure children are cared for in the best possible settings with the best staff – but we also support their families through training and intervention to provide help and guidance at what can be a difficult time in their lives.

Ensuring we had a sustainable model to allow us to support London’s children for decades to come was our top priority. It is with thanks to my staff and management team that we have been able to create a structure and culture that will enable to us to do secure this positive future for London’s children. I am delighted the judges recognised the efforts we put in.

We would jst like to add final congratulations to all the other fantastic businesses that entered the awards this year, especially fellow winners such as Ella’s Kitchen, Marks & Spencer, Shutl and Trunki.
